Hi everyone!

I am quite new to the OTA programming. I live in Pasco County (State Road 52 - Hudson) and i am able to get about 30 channels. I get every major network except WFLA. I checked on some sites for the magnetic baring and i have pointed my antenna (mounted in my attic) right on.... no luck.

Is this a common problem with WFLA ?

If there is anyone in that has had this problem and been able to fix it, could you please let me know what you did?

Also a few details about my rig:
I have a DB8 Antenna
ANWI8700 Winegard AP Signal Amplifier
TII 212 Broadband Cable TV Lightning Surge Protector

The antenna like i said is mounted in my attic. I have a 2 story home so its height is about 25-27 feet.

BHN via Windows Media Center?

It's been a LONG time since I've been a noob on any board so I apologize if this has already been asked and answered here, I searched and didn't hit on anything really relevant.

After years of Knology basic cable and that V company's DSL we've decided to say screw it and get a bundle with BHN.

We currently use our Win 7 PC with a AVerTv Hybrid Volar Max USB tuner card to act as a second TV & DVR (We have a Magnavox DVR/DVD burner as well that will end up being replaced by a BHN unit much to my better half's chagrin)

What I'd like to know is: What will I need in order to get full access to BHN programming on my PC via Windows Media Center?

I've run "Digital Cable Advisor" through WMC and got the green light.

I've tried calling BHN technical support and was told by a rep that all I'd need was a Cisco tuner adapter, no Cablecard doohickey or anything else. I did a bit more Googling and that information didn't quite jive with what I saw so I called back. The second guy (poor SOB) had NO CLUE what I wanted to do or really why I'd want to.

Part of me wants to do this with all BHN equipment (if available), the other part doesn't really care so long as I can keep the cost down so no $200+ wonder boxes please.

I really only want a single tuner for the PC to go with a dual tuner DVR in the living room. This will keep our recording / watching capabilities at their current levels and thereby help keep the peace in the house.

Tell me what to ask the sales rep for when we decide to order.

I'd also like links and pricing info for anything suggested.

Thanks
