Hey everyone...this is a wonderful site...thanks for setting it up.
I have been here in St. Pete (downtown around the 8th Ave Area) for about 7 weeks. I went on-line and did get the low-down on where the HD stations are located. I got myself one of those antenna's that attach to the Directv HD dishes...and it works most of the time for everything, but of course not CBS. I tried several things on the antenna, but I think the roof and trees are not going to let me get CBS because of where the dish is located.
I was thinking of buying and putting up a big antenna, Winegard HD-7082P, with even a rotor to boot, but I am a bit nervous about the grounding thing. Does anyone know of any tv / electronics guy or shop that can install or suggest what is the best option?
I am hoping that I can run something directly into the current Directv line and not have to run another antenna to the tv...but this is another area that I am not too comfortable with.
I have a Mit Elite 55" with a Sony HD Receiver...if this helps in any way.
Thanks much,
Bob
