D* installation question

I am new to satellite TV. I have been using cable way too long... ;-)

I have a question regarding Dish Network's installation. If I order basic package with local channels, will the standard professional installation include a regular (VHF/UHF) antenna to receive local channels in addition to the 20" round satellite dish? Or, will local channels be received by the round dish too?

Also, as for the free 6 month HD package, will Dish Network supply me a HD receiver, ie Dish 811 receiver, for free? Or do I have have to purchase / rent one?

You can actually get 2 HD receivers for free or 1 HD and 1 2-room dvr for free. The locals come off the dish but not HD locals. You will need an antenna for that but the 811 has the OTA tuner built in.
