DVR Hard disk upgrade

Has anyone been able to add an additional hard drive to the DVR? Or, has anyone seen any info on how to do it. I have seen threads on how to do it for the BHN box but not for the Motorolla that Verizon uses.

Also, head rumors on FIOS going to or possible offering the Tivo Series 3 to FIOS customers. Anyone know about this or have/seen any updates?
