Noticed during the Bucs game that WTVT has solved there problem when the put up the local channel identification bug on the HD feed. Used to go back and forth between HD & SD every time the bug was loaded

Nice start...BUT...how about making the new bug smaller and putting it into the lower right instead of big and bold at the bottom center of the screen

I found it very annoying....thats my rant for the day...I wont even comment on the Bucs...LOL

Yeah I noticed that as well, it is much better than switching to the SD feed everytime to remind you what channel you were watching.

It would be better it it were to the right, also if they would honor the safe area, and not run the little fox logo off the screen. The way it is I can't see the 3 in 13. I know my TV has overscan, but 90% of TV's do that is why they call it a safe area.

I mentioned it to my contact over there at Fox about the 3. He said he would look into it but he said I was the only person that said anything about it.

I am going to take a picture of the logo and also take a picture of the NY channel logo so he can compare them. The NY channel logo fits perfectly.

Yeah that is exactly what it looks like on my tv. It looks fine on my 30" LCD in the bedroom, but the 55" Diamond in the living room it runs off.

we need LESS bugs!
so why don't they move it over MORE to the right so i have to view it less.
I don't need their stupid channel id in my face.

Hey bschneider

How are you gettiing the NY station? I have D* with HD package but I do not get the eastcoast and west coast national feeds. I have seen a couple people say that they are getting them wondering if Im getting ripped off

Kind of what I thought but just wanted to make sure I was not getting screwed on my HD package.

FYI...the FOX bug does not get chopped on my Hitachi 50V500

Anyone notice that the Fox logo got smaller on the bottom right corner? It actually fits now without cutting the 3 cut off.

Our local FOX station does listen to its viewers.. unlike WFLA - NBC.

I noticed that too.
I had to play a show from yesterday to make sure that tongight is the night it changed. I am glad to see they are not blaming it on our tv's anymore, like some sugested over at AVS.

What's strange is that FOX5 HD from NYC had their logo shrink tonight as well. Must have been some sort of corporate mandate.
