Hello all. I have a DVR connected to the network in my house via LAN and the Verizon supplied Linksys router. I have messed around with trying to access the hard drive driectly from my PC to move programming across the network. I have it hooked up and the connection seems stable according to the router, but can't quite figure it out. If any of you have successfully connected to your DVR across a network to your PC, can you please guide me throug the setup? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Can you clarify this. Are you saying you are not using the RF cable input to get the signal into the DVR?

I don't think Verizon has turned that feature on yet. I read something a while back that it will be available sometime in the future. You'll be able to do a lot of cool things like program the DVR over the Internet.

Could you please explain how you are using the DVR through the router? I am really interested in doing this also.
