Allot of you know that there are several websites with allot of information for satellite programming. There is www.dbsforums.com, www.dbstalk.com, www.satelliteguys.us, and www.avsforum.com. I post regularly on AVS using the same screen name on everything. During the FOX-HD baseball, I was getting annoyed with satelliteguys.us and their moderators and their claim about their contacts with D*. Today I called them out and posted the following only to have my IP banned and the topic deleted within 10 minutes. That should tell you guys something about their D* contacts.

Well those guys are not going to get away with it that easily. Next time Scott or LonghornXP posts over at AVS regarding any D* programming this story is going to be posted right after them. AVS is a much bigger site than their own satelliteguys.us site and allot more people will see me call them out there.

TOPIC: Scott and LonghornXP’s D* Contacts

Long time lurker here on this site. Most of you know my screen name over at AVS.

I would like Scott and LonghornXP to ask their D* contacts what is on channel 480 – 488, 8006 – 8010 and 8099. I don’t want to hear that they don’t exist because I can prove that they exist. However, if I prove it then you’ll know what’s on these channels.

Quite frankly, I have read comments made especially by Scott on this site of his that basically is using my information that I provide over at AVS as his “D* contact” information. Case in point, on the first day of the baseball game I mention over at AVS that the game was on D* (engineering mode) but the sound was not in 5.1. About 30 minutes later he posts that same information here especially the sound not in 5.1, but says he got his information while on the phone with his D* contact. Bull**it

I don’t think Scott has D* contacts much less reliable contacts over at D*. I think allot of the information you are getting are both fabricate and grabbed from other websites. LonghongXP, I basically don’t believe anything you type. I sure enough don’t believe your contact is your brother that works at D*. So basically I’m calling you guys out. If you tell me what’s on these channels mentioned above, we all will know you have D* contacts.

I know Scott G. He has contacts at all 3 of the satellite providers.

I didnt bother to read your links / rant, however generally speaking just because a contact tells you something doesnt mean you can tell the rest of the world.

I don't think they do have contacts over there at D*. Not saying about the other two, just D*.

And my rant was to prove it. When I know for a fact that Scott is using my info and then tells his site that his D* contact tells him that info, that is a bunch of $hit.

All he has to do is tell me what is on those channels.. his D* contact should be able to tell him that.

Well I'll chime in on this. Firstly I didn't delete your post and I've been gone and haven't even been online for the last almost 20 hours so what is done I don't know and I'm not going to ask. Now about Scott I don't know who he is nor what contacts he has. Now I'm passing on the information I know and I could care less what others think of me and I could also care less if I get burned. Now I won't say who my brother is because he might get in trouble and I would rather not take that chance. Now I don't know what anyone might have stold from you if anything and maybe just maybe his contacts told him the same thing your contacts told you. I wonder if you ever thought of that. Now you don't know anything about me or who my contacts are and as such if I've been wrong on things you can say that but don't flat out call people liers without having anything to back it up with. Now I could care less what you call me but if I had to guess why you were banned it was because you flat out called someone a lier and were only trying to start a flame war. I could have thought of at least another 10 ways that you could have called us out without getting banned. You weren't asking and saying something you were flat out trashing and lying about people that you no evidence to back it up on.

My opinion is that you should have been banned for how you said what you said not the general idea of what you said. I don't think you should be banned for more than a day to just cool off but thats just me.

Now my other contacts don't have an engineering card and my brother will not tell me if anything is on their because he is afraid of losing his job with what all is going on. I've made it very clear about my brother and I can only pass on what he is willing to tell me and lately thats been very little.

You just recently sent in a feedback to D* (02/04) asking about CGMS. A month earlier in 01/04 you were not too sure about where the location for SD national channels is. So tell us again, when did your brother start working for D* and then you had access to all this inside information regarding D*?

If you have a brother on the inside why don't you tell me what's on those channels that I requested? Your brother will have no problem telling you as its not a rumor and its not a secret but they are in enigeering mode. Again that should not be a problem for your brother.

As regards with Scott, lets discuss his contacts for a minute. We all know they can’t be a CSR. That’s just stupid. They can’t be the attorneys. Sales? I don’t think so. A D* dealer? Nope. His contact can’t be in a high position at D*, because they would know what’s really going on and either not tell him anything or tell him what’s really going on. In either case he wouldn’t have anything to say or if he did the information would be somewhat reliable. But he has just recently said he was not too sure about his contacts information.

I definitely know that his contacts are not in engineering and that department is a decent size. If they were they would have known that the championship games and World Series would be in engineering mode for the first night. And according to him they didn’t know based on his posts on his site. According to him while he was on the phone with his D* contact they thought the game was on and, “swear it was on channel 86”. (See the links to his posts above) They can’t be normal employees because normal employees don’t have engineering cards so they wouldn’t have been able to say they were watching the game on channel 86. So who else is left over at D*? If he does have a contact I would say it possibly it is someone in Level 2 support. That would explain a lot.

There is no way in hell that he was on the phone with a D* contact while he was watching the game OTA and they were watching it on D* on channel 86 and then on top of that complaining that the sound is in 2.0. He got that information from AVS. So yeah I am basically flat out calling Scott a liar. What proof? I know who has enigeering cards and I am one of them.

Now I know you didn't ban me because I didn't see you online at the time of the ban. Like I said it was just 10 minutes after I posted it and only 7 people saw the post. There was only 1 mod online at the time and that was Scott. But I think you would have had at least the balls to respond like you did here.

So again whats on those channels? Shouldn't take you but a few minutes to get that from your brother.

I had a guy over at AVS register "yesterday", the same day of the post, with the name 'satelliteguysguy'. So he sent me a PM calling me a dumbass for calling Scott out. He stated that I should have PM'd Scott with my problem.

So he must have been one of the seven who saw my post. But what is funny is he didn't even had the nerve to use his real screen name. I mean come on, signing up the same day of the post.

Nice personal attack, since I don't have my GED, maybe you can educate me one what a "run on sentence", is. You also might want to dig out your GED book and look up when to start a new paragraph. I am no literati since I don't have a GED, but I read my own posts before I post them, to make sure they are clear.
