Hello neighbors..My dish 6000 ota module sometimes scans ch57 as 57 and sometimes 38. The other ota channels correctly identify, and come in reliably very well. But sometimes when I scan I get 57 identifying itself as 57 and not 38. When it does this I get no pic or sound, but show good strength signal. When it correctly identifies digital 57 as 38 I get a great picture. Anyone else have this problem?

i don't have a dish6000, but i just tuned into WB last night for Everwood and noticed that WB is back on 57.3
A few weeks ago it was on 57.2 because i reported it on the forum.
very strange.
be sure you don't only check 57.1 because its never on the .1 subcarrier

JB - I have the same issues - not sure what it is.

I think some OLDER gear like the 6000's OTA card have problems with non-100% compliant signals.

It resolves the errors to low signal strength as it cant lock the signal.

Dish is sending me a new 8vsb. Lately all the local digitals degenerate into pixels then a solid freeze with audio dropout. Hopefully this'll fix it.

I think it's WB and not older hardware. My Zenith SAT520 has lost this channel quite often. I currently have it back on channel 57-3 but when its not on 57-3 my box won't even find the channel and my box won't allow me to just tune into any other channel such as 57-2 like my Hughes E86 could before. I can't manually add any channel. For the box to add it it has to scan the channel so for some reason when they switch it off of 57-3 my box won't find it but when its back on 57-3 I just tune to it. Once it finds 57-3 I can manually tune to it. So for a while I got no signal but some days later I just tune to it again and there it is.
