...or has anyone else noticed that their digital signal is very weak or non-existent. Does anyone have any contacts over at channel 44 that can let us know whats going on? I'd like to watch the Star Trek Enterprise season in HD and it starts next Friday (Oct 8th)!

With the exception of possible signal problems during the recent hurricanes, we have not had any extended periods of low power or loss of signal. Since WTOG-DT broadcasts from a combined antenna with WUSF-DT(Channel 34) and WEDU-DT(Channel 54), you should see us as good or better than those stations. If you are still not receiving us with full power then please send me a private mesage regarding your problems.
We do not expect to have any problems with the premiere of ENTERPRISE in HD this week. By the way, UPN now has expanded the HD lineup with shows each weeknight(except WWE on Thursday).
Enjoy!

Mikey: assuming that you have some kind of antenna, try moving it slightly to see if that helps. UHF channels are very succeptable to their surroundings. If you remember rabbit ears, just having people walk in the vicinity of the antenna will change the signal considerably. Watching an analog UHF station transmitted from the same tower mentioned above might give you some idea how the signal is coming accross, so you can tune for best reception and least multipath ghosting.

That makes sense, I'm getting really low signal levels on 34 as well. What's funny is all the other channels out of Riverview are in the 80s and 90s...could it be that my antenna aiming is that off?

It could be that 2 of the other riverview channels are broadcast in VHF whereas the others are UHF.

Well, I got up on a ladder and moved my antenna around and now I am receiving high 70s on 59 (44-1), but 34 is still in the low 30s and 40s. I think I might have a multi-path problem because the channel 34 signal is fluctuating. All the other Riverview channels also went from 80s and 90s down to mid 70s, so I am getting a lock on them but I think I this can be improved, considering I am only 23 miles away from the towers. I am considering re-locating my antenna this weekend and moving it up higher (HOA be damned!) to see if it improves.

Mikey,
You are getting expected results. WUSF-DT is operating at reduced power. You should get WEDU and WTOG just fine.
