UPN announced yesterday that it is expanding the HD lineup starting this week. Please see the following news release:

UPN TO OFFER LARGEST SLATE OF HDTV PROGRAMMING IN ITS HISTORY

Record Five Hours A Week To Be Broadcast in Hi-Def in 2004-2005 Season

UPN will present its largest slate of HDTV programming in the history of the network for the 2004-2005 season, it was announced today by Dawn Ostroff, President, Entertainment, UPN. Half of the network’s primetime line-up – a record seven series –will be broadcast in high definition television, beginning with the premieres of all three of UPN’s drama series “Veronica Mars,” “Kevin Hill” and “Star Trek: Enterprise,” and extending to UPN’s Monday night comedies “One on One,” “Half & Half,” “Girlfriends” and “Second Time Around” by November. This brings the Network’s weekly HDTV offerings to five hours. Last season, UPN presented two hours of series programming in HDTV, including “Star Trek: Enterprise,” as well as select Friday night movies.

“HDTV is going to further enhance what are already high-quality, visually stunning dramas and comedies,” said Dawn Ostroff, President, Entertainment, UPN. “We are very pleased to introduce the growing HDTV audience to UPN’s programming.”

Now that UPN has more HD programming, do you know if and when BHN will be retransmitting 44 for those that have BHN?

Like all other problems in life, this one is as political as why NBC is a no-show on BHN. Feel free to contact BHN for their answer. In the meantime, throw a cheap antenna out the window and enjoy on channel 59.

A cheap antenna and a cheap HD OTA receiver.

Since most TV's don't have integrated tuners, finally someone has made one that many consider cheap.

$199 from walmart, last time I was at the Walmart on Dale Mabry, they had it in stock.

Not a problem for me.. I have several antennas "out the window", 3 actually.

I personally will not give my money to Time Warner or BHN.

So those of you that have BHN, you heard the da'man.. contact BHN.
