Well to start off I would rather not put up an outdoor antenna but if I have to I will but this just kills me because sometimes it works fine and other times it doesn't. Well to start off I have a powered Jensen VHF/UHF that has gain controls for both VHF and UHF.

Now to start off I've been told many different things on how to place and what direction to place my indoor antenna. I have it sitting on top of my bigscreen and no other place is easy and would involve having to step over wires all the time.

So my first question is which way should the loop be pointing in Largo or at what general direction. Also secondly which way should the two poles be facing and how long should they be extended. For example should the two poles be straight up or like a V or both down like a straight line. Now how far should I pull out the pole. It says it can go out like 44 or so inches.

Mainly my problem is that I can get all stations in fine but Fox and the Fox picture always pixelates and everytime I turn on my surround receiver and start ouputting the surround via optical output it either pixelates more or gets no signal. Now I can have the receiver on outputting say the DVD Player surround and the Fox signal is fine. I've asked this question once before and thought it got fixed but now its back again and driving me nuts.
