View Full Version : New lineup on 3-5?

I hadn't looked at the PBS 3-5 HD-loop for a week or so, but tonight I found regular programming on it. There is a Tom Petty concert on right now, on a show called "soundstage"

Are the days of the HD loop gone?

BTW, I usually have to tune the digital PBS stations several times before they come in, but when I get one, they all three come in. I usually just go back and forth between analog 3 and 3-1 several times until 3-1 comes in, then go to 3-5. The signal alternates between 86 and 93% on my Samsung T-160. I thought maybe it was something to do with the PSIP data, or maybe the latest samsung software upgrade (1.0.10), since it wasn't a problem when they had only one digital signal(82). Anyone else around here with the T-160 having this happen?

That is part of the hd loop I believe... I have seen that on a number of times in the past on the pbs hd channel.

Nope, the "PBS HD LOOP" is just part of the PBS HD schedule, as are the Soundstage productions. Although I guess you could call most of their schedule a loop as the "Smart Travels with Rudy Maxa" you see on Monday is the same one you'll see all week.

Floyd,

I am having a similar problem on my Sam 160. Sometimes if I unplug the unit and plug back in, then I can get them. Also at the same time this is happening with the 3-1, 3-2, 3-5, I don't get 66-1, 47-1 0r 44-1. I never have a problem with any of the other digital channels. Wonder if it is a problem with the receiver. Anyone else with feedback?

Yeah, SOUNDSTAGE was on twice every Thursday and Saturday evening.
I believe it has now run its course.

I thought Lyle Lovett was the best show of the bunch.

there's still a soundstage coming this month with amy grant as a guest. don't think its over yet. i haven't particularly like the musical choices - but would have like the Alison Krauss show the best.
