FIOS going to TV-Guide

There is a notice on the OSG channel on FIOS that states that starting April 26th they will be changing to "TV - Guide" services. I assume that means the actually "TV Guide" but I'm not sure what this buys us in terms of service changes.

Anyone know?

I've been told that the IPG will stay the same and on April 26th they will just be adding a new channel which is the TV-Guide channel. This will be a new channel not relating at all to a change in the program guide itself which you access by pressing the Guide button on the box and remote.
