Hi All,

Well, I was able to hook up the ReplayTV to the FIOS. Apparently the first 15 or so channels come through the cable in Analog and unscrambeled. So, generally this is the major networks. This is basically what I was looking for, so I am happy. The only thing I can't record on the Replay that I used to is the Sci-FI channel.

Also, this means I don't need to pay for that third cable box ($4 a month) which we have on 1 TV cause I was told I "need" a box for every TV.

I also have a replaytv but I am planning on using it with Fios since the user interface seems much better and I cant get away from comercial skip. Curious why you went away from Replay? HD?

It doesn't answer your interface issue but 30 second skip is available on the verizon DVRs.

Yes, if Replay had an HD version I would probably get it. The ReplayTV interface and features still the best I've used.

I have been doing a lot of thinking on how I can still use it. Not sure if the new Replay on PC will work when it is released. Until media center boxes get HD cable cards or can pass 1080 I might have to suffer on the default program guide/dvr.
