I've heard that NBC is going to be offering a 24 hour HD pay-per-view Olympics channel. Anyone else hear about this or have any further details?

well, i'm gonna be watching the nbc coverage (which usually sucks due to too much fluff and not enough action, but wasn't the case in Salt Lake where the HD was different coverage)
AND
the Bravo HD coverage from Voom :D

Thank the HD greek gods that Japan's NHK is producing the Olympics in HD or we would be watching it in SD, since everyone knowes NBC always drops the ball.
I will be surprised if we see much in HD since most will be tape delayed and NBC won't have the equipment to play it back in HD.
I try to be an optomistic but it is hard when it comes to NBC.

Well that grid certainly seems promising.
Do you interpret that as they will have NBC OTA HD coverage 24 hours a day?
Or will the coverage of each of those channels be in HD?

If you look at the grid again, you'll notice that NBC is listed on the left and HDTV is listed on the right (24 hour coverage). I don't know what this means. I had heard that this HDTV 24-Hour coverage is going to be a pay-per-view channel but I cannot get that confirmed.
