BHN & D* Combo Suggestions

I recently subscibed to D* after not having ESPN-HD; with Football season around the corner, I wanted to be ready. The only problem I have now is my total entertainment costs are $190 per month. I like the assortment of BHN's HBO Channels and their onDemand channels and I can't figure out how to best "finagle" this package to get my total costs down per month. Obviously I want to keep the BHN HD channels, all others are quesitonable at this moment.

Any suggestions?

I am in the same boat at this point. Looking forward to football season, but I can't keep paying this much.

At this point I think I am going to drop cable untill after football season, and maybe by then I will be able to buy a decent DVR that works with HD cable.

If I sell all my recording equipment for cable and buy a HDTivo and regular D* Tivo I will only be out of pocket $560. Then I just have to hope that when a good Cable DVR is availible I can still get a decent about for the D* tivo's.

I only watch the HD, so I will miss out on INHD1, 2 and TNTHD. I think D* will pick up D* when they get more content.

If you recently subscribed to D* you may want to watch for the specials. The news is on the 18th they are going to start a special that includes the NFL HD stuff for free. You may want to see if you can get it to apply to you.
