Our neigbhorhood, Tara, in Manateee County was wired for Fios last year, and we picked up the Fios Broadband right away, in October. Thank goodness, since the only thing available in the area was analog cable-- very bad, and no DSL.
The internet service is Fantastic!
Now I'm wondering how long will we have to wait to get the Fios TV. I don't want to make a 2 year commitment to Direct TV for HD if Fios TV is right around the corner. If anyone has any knowledge about this, I would appreciate hearing about it.
Our community association is supposedly getting ready to ink a deal with Brighthouse in the fall to upgrade our crappy cable-- I hope that Fios TV is still an option after that happens.
