Will BHN let me self install Pace box?

I already have basic and digital cable, RR, yada yada. When I buy my HDTV (or before) I'd like to just take my Scientific Atlanta stb box to their office and swap it out for the Pace, sign up for HD Pak, take it back home and do it myself.

Feasible, or do they require an installer to come do it?

They should let you. I called them up and added the service and they said they would send someone out to install the box, I said if I can pick it up it would be quicker and easier on my end, she said no problem. The HD-DVR boxes for some reason they want to come out and install though, maybe cause they dont have them in their branch offices yet.

They also let me do it when I upgraded from basic cable to the Pace box. But when I got the HD-DVR someone had to come over to swap boxes.
