hi

I bought a 15-2154 antenna from Radio Shack and installed it in the attic. What I did was to suspend the antenna from the rafters with some good nylon string making sure it cleared all electrical wires or connections.

I followed the instructions but it did not have details on attic installations. In particular the section on grounding was silent on grounding the antenna in an attic. The section on grounding was useless because it focussed on grounding the mast in an outside installation and I dont have a mast.

First off do I need to ground an attic antenna and secondly what do I need to do to ground an attic antenna?

Thanks

I wouldn't bother with grounding an attic antenna, since it's no more likely to be struck than anything else in your attic.
