Can anyone recommend a competent antenna guy that can come up to Dade City? I won't have time to mess with this for several weeks and would rather just get it done.

I've got a couple of antennas in the attic that either need to be adjusted, suplemented, or moved to an external mast.

I'm also looking for recommendations for a good professional antenna installer. I'd like to find somebody who can select correct antenna for my area (upper Tampa Bay), install and orient the antenna properly, and run the cables in the attic crawlspace and down the walls.

I don't have an HDTV yet (but soon). I just got a MyHD tuner card for my computer, and I've been experimenting around with an old Radio Shack double-bowtie antenna that I had laying around. I found that if I put the antenna in the attic crawlspace, I get a strong signal on some channels, but a weak or no signal on others. I think I'll either need multiple antennas or an antenna on a rotor to get all of the local channels.

Steve,

I have the same config with MyHD. I'm sure we could recommend the right antenna's, just tell us a little about your yard and the surroundings.

I would wait until you get your HDTV. Digital signals are different than analog when in comes to reception. You'll just be wasting your time until you get that ASTC receiver put in.
