Quick question.
I have BH's Pace HD box connected to a Westinghouse 27" widescreen TV. When I put on the HD channels they stay in 'standard' tv mode. In fact there is a GUI box that appears briefly at the top left corner of the screen coming from the cablebox that says 'Zoom'.

I went into the settings of the cablebox and changed the Set TV setting to Widescreen and it did nothing. Any ideas? Thanks.

In the settings control panel for the box you need to set the resolution to 'pass' and aspect to 16X9. You can also try resolution to '1080i' and aspect to 16X9.

I don't see a 'Resolution' setting. The only item I see is 'SET TV', which I set to 'widescreen'. Strangely I don't see a setting to set to 1080i either.

Is it model 550 or 551?

Thanks so much for the links. The box is a 550 and no wonder it wasn't easy to find these settings. You would think they would be under the setup gui from the box...but NOOOOOOOOOOO.

Jody---

If you can, try to get your hands on the DC551 Pace box. The only reason is it has a enhancement setting within the set top that help with the analog channels.
