Just noticed that BHN has started displaying caller ID on all my TV's with boxes.

Very Cool!

Is anyone else seeing this or is this just because I have BHN VOIP?

Caller ID on Display is for BHN customers that subscribe to both Digital Phone and Digital Cable. Only televisions with the digital converters will display the callers information. It is a free service. It comes active and can be easily turned off by the subscriber. Other features that came along with it is Direct access to OnDemand Services, which include Brighthouse OnDemand, Premiums OnDemand, Favorites OnDemand and Movies OnDemand.

I would never deactivate this, I love the caller ID on the screeen. I only with call waiting caller ID showed up as well.


What does the following mean?

To access the detailed menu, while watching a program, push the Yellow Triangle 'A' button. It will display a menu that allows you to turn On/Off the Caller ID and to also access the other added features. In the upcoming days all HUBs will be activated in the Pinellas CO region so everyone can soon access this feature.

I don't see what it is of which you speak. In the guide when I press the "A", all I get is the Title, Theme, Channel selection.

Glad you found it...

Pushing the 'A' while watching a program is the only way to retreive the menu. If you are in the Settings or Guide it will not work.

Basically, BHN configured it so any application that already required the "A" key won't get squashed. I think it's (as mentioned) the guide, scheduled recordings, possibly the PPV app and the DVR "recorded list" app.
