ok, so I picked up a Samsung SIR-T351 basically in order to get NBC-HD and maybe some of the other stations we don't get on BHN. I just have a silver sensor indoor antenna since we're living in a temp home right now.

I can get most of the UHF stations pretty well, I can TSP-HD depending on how I aim the antenna, but I can't get WFLA-HD at all, I guess because it's VHF?

Are there any indoor solutions that might help here? I'm in West Bradenton.

I might just return the receiver if it doesn't help me to add some of the HD stations I can't get on BHN.

Thanks,
-David

Hiya,

Don't know about any VHF/UHF issues with your tuner or location, but I'm using a SIR-T151 connected to a (don't laff!) Terk TV55 antenna that's mounted to a rotor located (again, don't laff!) in the crawspace of my one-story home, which is located five blocks south of a large water tower, and WFLA-HD comes in fine. (Whether there is much to bother watching is a different story!)

From my location, I usually luck out and find that WTOG-HD and the Ch 3 triplets all come in with the same antenna location as Ch 8. A few degrees CCW and I often lose them but gain WTSP-HD. My biggest problems seem to be weather and overhead traffic (helicopters and planes.)

Just a thought...if ya have kids, maybe you can get one of them to stand outside with the antenna mounted on a broomstick when ya wanna watch...nah, that's probably not a good idea...nevermind....

Hope ya get it sorted out soon!

- Joel :)
