this morning when I got up my dvr box was on the blink...the clock is not displaying, no video, and every 5 minutes or so it seems to try to boot like it does when you unplug and plug it back in except after the innitial symbols it usually has it also flashes two more things, HAL2 and then 6680, before going blank again for 5 more minutes and repeating.
A while ago I unplugged it for several hours and then plugged it back in and it did the same thing it's been doing all day except after a minute the clock display came back on...however I can't turn the power on so it still isn't working?
I'm calling bhn in the morning but I just wanted to see if you have seen this before and maybe know a way I can fix it or if it's just dead.
It was working fine yesterday by the way.

update....before I went to bed last night I unplugged/plugged it back in one more time and it booted and I was able to turn it on....all my scheduled recordings are still there and everything seems fine except it won't seem to accept any new recordings?...when I try to select AmericanChopper to record tonite it just immediatly goes back to the guide when I hit select the final time and it does not highlight the show in red....it usually highlights a show red and takes about 15 seconds after you hit select the final time before going back to the guide.
I still think I'm gonna call BHN today and have them replace it...something is obviuosly screwed up or dying on this thing....they better not try to stick me with a servicecall charge either.

called this morning and the lady told me they are having a problem in my area that is causing all the DVR's not to work right...is it too much to ask that they call their dvr customers and let them know it won't be working for two days
