Out in Parrish where I live CBS-Dig OTA has been a big pain in the ass. I loose signal every 5 minutes or so. I can't stand it and that is with a clear day. When there is bad weather, forget about it. I stopped watching cbs all together.

However, during superbowl I never lost signal once and my signal meter was pegged.

Whats up with that? Why suddenly I get a full signal and I dont loose signal every 5 minutes?

I think someone is cheating/screwing us.

BTW, the audio could have not been any worst. Audio drop-outs where very prevelant and what about the one fan clapping in each surround speaker. Also, everytime they went into commercial sound would blow you off your seat. My ears are still ringing.

However, the picture was pretty damn good.

They definitly turned up the Juice for the Superbowl. I switched over to the SD for a second to further enjoy how great HD is, and noticed that I was getting the SD feed perfect which is usually not the case.

Next time you have drop outs I would call WTSP and call them on it. Say "I was able to pick up the SuperBowl Perfect" maybe you can get them to stay at that power all the time.

Yeah...the commercials were at least twice as loud as the game...i had to keep turning my volume up and down every 3 minutes...that should be against the law really, it could have damaged my speakers if I had the volume on the game as loud as I usualy do.

I noticed some sound distortion in my surrounds at the begining of that crappy halftime show too like they were over modulating the back channels a little.

and then I saw Janet Jacksons breast while sitting with my mother and sister and stepfather and some friends from our church I had over...thankyou CBS

I was watching on BHN and experienced the same excessively loud commercials and sound dropout problems (especially during half time). It just wasn't the best surround sound presentation from CBS.

Just thought I'd throw in my input to let you know not all the problems were local OTA but probably originated at CBS and Houston.
