HDNET and HDNET2 are both in DD 5.1 that may be why they seem louder. Only some stuff is in 5.1 on INHD.

That is how it is on D* also, I would email HD.net and let them know.
They claim it isn't any louder.

Since they added HDnet and HDnet Movies, I decided to sign up. Nothing interesting today, but I'm sure there will be some interesting programming. Thanks for the heads up!

Why the isn't the Montreal v. Buffalo NHL game on HDNET as advertised...in the programming guide, internet schedules, and TV spots on the actual network?

Anyone know what in the world is going on?

I was wondering the same thing...the college ivy league basketball game they have on is impossible to watch. Also HDNET is much louder than the other three channels for some reason. Had to turn it down to watch the WNBA, I mean college Ivy League basketball game :lol:

The Lightning where in Pittsburgh tonight, and the Pitts v. TB game game wasn't on HDNET it was Mon v. Buff..Oh well I emailed some people both at BHN and HDNET. Hopefully I get a response tomorrow.

Finally some real HD channels.
I also went ahead and signed up.
No NHL game but there was a decent NBA game on INDHD.

Here is hoping ESPN HD is added soon.

I signed up for the HD Pak again too. I figure to have 4 channels that have 24/7 HD is worth $6 a month. Will be really sweet when they get ESPN-HD added to it.

As of a minute ago, both HDnet channels are down for me. Just a black screen. Anyone else experiencing this? :roll:

I just ordered this package tonight.

Then called back because both hdnet channels are down here in Tarpon Springs.

Then I see other posts with the same problem.

They blamed my cable wiring or equipment and set up a service call.

I knew they would not know that this was a problem on their end.

Maybe it will come on later and I can cancel the service call.

I knew they were going to say this even before I called them.

Not a very Bright House so far.

Same problem here in Clearwater. Both channels are dark. They actually pop in every second or two.
They were working fine yesterday and this morning.
I'll give it another night before I call.
I wouldn't waste your time with a service call. It is a problem on their end.

We, as the cable provider do not have that answer.
Networks schedule their own programming.

Thanks for the message. It sounds like that was our OTA channel. 1 of 2 things must have happened. Either their broadcasting the OTA channel by accident - or they accidentally blacked out your area for the game. Our OTA channel re-airs games from the last 2 years - so if you're still seeing Ivy League B-Ball, or Lacrosse - then you're seeing the OTA channel full time. I would call Brighthouse and make sure that you're receiving the correct channel.

Tonight's game (SJ @ Dallas) was on live and looked/sounded awesome. Good job HDNet and BHN. Hopefully all of the issues are resolved in terms of not airing games properly.

Tried to watch Towering Inferno this morning but the channel kept showing artifacts every 10 seconds.
I have an original box so that may be the problem. INHD 1 & 2 always come in perfect.
This is getting aggravating.

I've been having the same problems with HDnet movies. Lots of artifacts and audio dropouts. My wife was asking whether it was OTA :roll: I haven't seen anything really worth watching yet all the way through...I guess its only 6 dollars a month :roll: :roll: :roll: :roll: :roll:
