I saw this work today on a Samsung DLP... while everything is on, just disconnect the DVI cable from the back of the Pace box and then reconnect.
VOILA!

I just posted this as the fix in the other thread. It worked for me when I had the problem.

If the quick fix doesn't work, try this.

Turn cable box off, turn tv on and set to dvi input. Unplug pace box and plug it back in. You should see a short visual indication that the dvi output is enabled as the box re-boots. Wait until the time is displayed on the box and then turn it back on.

I noticed when I change inputs to component in, it confused my pace box and it turned off the dvi output .. there was even a message on the top of the screen that my monitor was not hdcp compliant and to use component outputs instead. I had to do this full reset to get dvi output re-enabled. This happened when I got home today from being away for 5 days and the dvi output wasn't working again when I got home. The tv was just displaying a vertical line of dashes in the center of the screen. The quick fix and several other things didn't work.

I think part of the problem might be that the samsung DLP sets really take about 30 seconds to boot up and might not respond properly to the hdcp protocol during the time that the box does it. Not sure exactly what the problem is, but at least there's still a workaround.
