Anyone here using a Samsung TS-160?

I haven't been able to get any of the PBS (ch 3) digital channels for the last 10 days or so, and I'm wondering if there is someone else in this area that is also having the same problem, using the same receiver. I understand that this receiver is fussy about the PSIP data and wonder if ch-3 has modified the data so as to make the channels unavailable to my receiver. I tried a re-scan.
Prior to this, I sometimes had to tune to the ch-3 channels several times before they would come in. Once 3-1 came in the other two would also come in. It's an all-or-nothing thing with the digital PBS channels for me, and the SS meter showed 85-93% after they came in. The meter doesn't display when the ch is not being received, so I don't know what it would show now, but the analog signal is somewhat grainy, same as always, and there is no ghost visible.

yesterday afternoon around 4pm i tuned into PBS on cable, and instead of seeing HD content on 605 (BHN's equiv to 3.5) there was local SD crap.
so something might have changed during the daytime lineup, because i know i've seen HD at night.

I have not tried OTA tho as I only hook that up on Mondays for Vegas and for Star Trek Enterprise on Wed.

Well I have a Samsung 151, and I too have been having problems for the last few days receiving PBS.

I am glad I am not alone. Maybe something did change?

For a while now, PBS has had SD content on 3-5 during the day mon-fri, till about 5:30 or 6pm.

PBS has been coming in fine for me.

I've had these outages before. Maybe I'll wait until it comes back on and then call the engineers at ch 3 to see if they just recently modified the psip data. I'm not getting 66-1 either, but don't miss it like 3-5.

The only problems I have with the 160 is 10-1 keeps dropping from the program guide. I've got to re-add, lock the box, and unlock every other week or so.

10-1 has never dropped from my IPG. When it drops, does it require a re-scan, or does it just get moved over to the right side of the display-choice list(or whatever that screen is called)?

Doesn't require a re-scan. It just moves over to the right side of the profile's list. It might stay if the profile is in "locked" mode, but I usually have mine "unlocked".
