Well, even the wife (she got game, ya know) is watching football nowadays. We watched most of the thrilling Rams game. Tons of great shots of all the field goals which were so critical in this game.

Then I switch over to the CBS game and yuck.
Its darker, smaller, and I guess the regular truck guys must have been away at CES because they couldn't even get a decent shot of the 1st missed field goal of the game. And after they came back from commercial, I watch 5 more minutes and they never showed a replay of it.

Contrast that to Fox's awesome coverage, angles, clarity, etc., and I'd settle for Fox never going to true HD for football.
Maybe that stadium just was too dark or something.

On a positive note, if there was one, it seemed to me that the overhead camera has been upgraded to HD.

Well, you can have your cake and eat it too. I would guess by the end of 2004 FOX football will be in HD.

Did anyone notice the Patriots/Titans game on Saturday night had a green hue to everything? The Sunday gam on CBS looked great. Maybe it was so cold in Foxboro that the red and blue were frozen.
