I am out near 39 & 60 - was thinking about trying to get Orlando's WB station.

On a side note - what antenna would be good to get for out in this area for local HD - is there an HD "Tampa Special"?

Man, now you're making me mad!
I've been dying for HD WB - I can't stand the thought of another season with no smallville in HD here. AAAARRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!

anyway, you'll most likely need something like a YAGI to get CBS from that distance - get a mast and put the antenna up and point toward CBS and you might get lucky to bring in the riverview stations from the same point.

come down to DOW ELECTRONICS on Adamo.
Just past 301 on the south side of Adamo.

You can walk out with the mast and Channelmaster antenna and roof mount and cable, all at almost wholesale prices (certainly cheaper than Lowes).

On the other hand, you're welcome to come borrow my Radio Shack Double Bowtie or Silver Sensor to see if either work for you. I'm in East Bloomingdale by the new YMCA.

First off... I'm located in St. Pete. Last night I pointed my Radio Shack UHF only antenna with an amp to the south. I was amazed when I was able to pick up WBBH-DT (remapped to 20-1, 20-2, NBC, actual channel is 15) and WZVN-DT (remapped to 26-1, 26-2, ABC, actual channel is 41) from Ft. Myers. Both had signal reception levels of about 30% on the Samsung 160. For those folks with the Samsung 160 and have wondered how to force the receiver to find the Analog/Digital stations that were not found in the auto scan.... Go to the dish selection and temporarly select "no dish". This makes the receiver OTA only and now when you enter the actual channels, it will, based on your antenna setup, pick up the weaker signals.
