View Full Version : BHN Lineup Change?

Not sure when the lineup changed, but I noticed tivo thinks Bravo and CSPAN2 are on the wrong channels. Looks like Bravo moved from 80 to 74 (replacing Outdoor Life Network?) and CSPN2 moved from 81 to a lower number.

Anybody notice when this happened?

zap2it.com still shows the old channel numbers. (That's basically the same listings that tivo uses.)

I submitted a channel lineup form to tivo. (Just including Bravo and 2 of the WEDU HD channels which are also missing from tivo's lineup.)

I also noticed that one of the Disney channels in the 100's is now the A&E Biography channel?

Looks like several things were moved around.

Did BHN forget to notify Tribue media of the lineup changes?

Another gripe .. BHNs website sucks. It's unusable with mozilla. And now, I get page errors with IE (building menus). Why does the web site have to be some complicated and slow?

Anyway, I can't even get to the lineups page on the Tampa Bay BHN web site to check it if it's correct or wrong there. Clicking on "go" on any of the pages that has the lineup box where you type your zip code does nothing because of the web page errors.

Well, just wait for your next bill. I'm sure they will have an announcement in there somewhere.

Actually, they had an annoucement in the paper a couple of times before the New Year. It was just like an ad but had all the lineup changes in it. There looked to be about 15 changes in channels.

IFC moved to channel 113 I think.

Maybe they are shuffling to add more HD content! Yea Right.

zimmy, from what gmmclauglin has said who is one of bhns people in orlando said they will be adding hdmovies and net..

I also work for them but dont get much information as channel additions pretty much until there on as I work in the field..

Presumably HDnet, etc will be added in the 7xx range of channels, where INHD is now. (just a guess.)

At least in the lower range of channels, they seem to be clearing out the space in the 8x and 9x range.

My tivo is still trying to record Bravo on channel 80. Sigh.

Looks like they fixed the menu problem on the web site, so I can get to the channel lineup again with IE, but, unfortunately, it's wrong for my zip code (34209) in Manatee.

74 shows as OLN
INHD and INHD2 are not listed.
WTSP-HD is not listed.
and several other old assignments seem to be listed.

So, I could print this and send it to tivo, but it's still wrong, so that wouldn't help them to fix the lineup problems.

Any hope of getting the correct channel lineup updated on the website, and sent out to Tribune Media? (zap2it.com reflects the info used by Tribune Media and Tivo and probably many folks that publish local tv listings.)

Thanks,
David

I just checked my channel lineup (for 33781) and it's correct. The only channels missing that I could see were 540 (Sunshine HD) and some of the In Demand PPV channels. Use my zip code and see if it matches your channels.

Todays update from tivo brought in a massive lineup change.

I think the only thing wrong (that I know of) is that 605 is listed as the normal WEDUDT which is the same as 603.
