The 13-1 ch has dissapeared from the guide this week. I get the local channels from an antenna. Anyone else having trouble with this channel who has an HR-20? I have other recevers that are fine.
BTW, my baseband couplers have been on for several years now and are still working.

13-2 disappeared from TiVO this week which uses the same guide (Tribune Media) as DirecTv. Was 13-1 a typo?

I don't recall getting 13-2. My missing channel is 13-1, which is the primary HD Fox channel.
WTVT-13 is messing with the psip data lately. I reprogrammed a tv several days ago that found 13-1, 13-2, 13-6, 13-9. The mystery channel data is for phantom channels that do not exist. I suspect that the tv "found" them because the psip data on the main digital signal is corrupted, which may be why the directv tribune data is eliminating my 13-1 channel from the guide. I'm missing some shows because of this, so it is a legitimate issue with me....not just a whim or a preference.

Why do I bet that this has something to do when the fact that the Fox Splicer 2.0 was probably in the process of being installed about the same time.

I recall a several years ago when they went to their backup encoder as the main system went down, there was all kinds of mystery PIDS in the signal during that Bucs game.

I'm an idiot. After having 13-1 dissapear from my channel list I assumed there was something wrong with the system. I tried all kind of system setup changes and couldn't get it to rescan back into the guide. I finally called directv and their technician asked a simple question..."are you using a customized guide list?"
The one thing I didn't do was to go into the custom guide setup to see if that channel was de-selected. I fixed it, though I don't know how it got removed in the first place. Sometimes technicians go for the complex solutions and overlook the simple thngs. I should have had my wife look at the problem.
Thanks for the input.
