That exclusive deal for MSNBC in the tri-state area expired for MSNBC which could pave the way for MSNBC HD to be added on FIOS systems.

In the article, they only say a "later date". I do recall FIOS was reluctant to pick up the HD version because of that exclusive agreement with CableVision.

Unfortunately, it seems FIOS has slowed down on adding HD lately.

Word from the AVS Forum is that they are going to add MSNBC HD this week on channel 603.

The Olympics pushed this launch up.

According to people on the AVSForum, MSNBC HD is now on FIOS.

It penetrated systems pretty fast.

It seems Direct TV is the only major carrier without it.
