Got a question for people who have Direct TV and Dish.

I've heard from one person they can watch Baseball games on out of market regional sports net if they sign up for Extra Innings.

Is this true as I've heard it's not from some most?

Also how do the NBa and NHl packages work on Direct tv and Dish?

Thanks in advance.

Dish Network does NOT have the MLB Network or MLB Extra Innings so the point is moot - for now.

DirecTV has all four major sports channels including their out of market packages.

Both have regional sports networks (RSN's) but they black out the live games (ergo the pay packages). The only channel Dish does not carry on their RSN's is the YES Network.

What I find interesting is I can watch the pre- and post-game shows of many teams. Select RSN's show minor league games, in fact I watched a Portland-Omaha AAA game a couple of days ago.

The RSN's are a hit if you like college sports because they carry a lot of games not under the ESPN banner. For the $5.00 or so per month it is a reasonable extra to take advantage of.

In Demand is going to have 9 HD feeds (adding 8 more) for NBa League Pass this fall and 9 (adding 7 more) For MLB Extra Innings/NHL Center Ice.

With the SDV, BHN might add these when they become available. It would help as SD sports sucks.
