After doing a lot of research and "head spinning", I decided to just go for one of the cheaper and easiest routes with the intent of working my way up to the ultimate setup. So, I recently purchased a used, Philips Mant310 amplified indoor antenna at a yard sale for $3. To my surprise, it works just fine and I plan on buying 2 more for my other TV sets. As recommended, I spread the VHF dipoles to exactly 28 inches from tip to tip and lay the dipoles flat and horizontal and receive a strong signal for WESH channel 2. Then, I just positioned the UHF loop towards the east (Bithlo) and get a strong signal for the UHF channels. By the way, I used one of my government issued $40 coupons and purchased a Radio Shack DTX9950 converter box. I very happy with this Radio Shack product; good connection instructions and the remote is user-friendly.

Hope this info helps someone in my general area.
