Tampa is so lucky

I am in the process of moving from Tampa to Greenville SC. I am a FIOS customer here. We have it so much better than they have it in Greenville. Competition is a wonderful thing. The local cable company up there is Charter. Everyone hates them. They have a grand total of 20 HD channels if you sign up for everything and that will cost you well over $100 a month. If you want internet, you have two choices, DSL if you are lucky but that is only 1.5 mb. Or you can go Charter for 10mb at $65 a month plus $50 to buy the cable modem. You can of course go sat. for TV and I will probably do that but the internet really frost me. There are rumors that AT&T will start deploying Uverse there soon but....

Sure makes me appreciate the competition and the prices and choices that the competition made available to us in Tampa.
