I am getting a Samsung HLN 5065W TV and I trying to figure out how I can program my OnkyoTX-DS797(Receiver) remote to switch directly to the video input associated with a particular device, i.e. DVD or VCR.
The Sammy does not have a single remote button for each input. But I have the discrete codes for it. I really don't want to buy Radio Shack 15-2116 LCD Remote Control just to program one button and have to beam it back to my DS797 leaning remote. If you have a remote that does this and live near Brandon can you leave a message so I can maybe hook up with you. I would be willing to pay a small fee so i can get the beam time.(hehe thats a new one)It should not take long and I only need to get about 5 beams.
