Sad to report that veteran voiceover talent Brian James has died. He was 48. James passed away from a heart attack early Friday morning at his residence in Scottsdale, AZ. James began his career as the Creative Director of WIBC and WNAP/Indianapolis moving to Creative Director of B94/Pittsburgh.
Following a tour in San Francisco as the creative force behind X100, he moved to WFLZ-FM/Tampa helping to put the Power Pig on the air. After opening his own imaging firm, James' voice went on to be heard on KIIS-FM/Los Angeles and WHTZ-FM (Z100)/New York.
James is survived by his wife Kimberly, a son Max and a stepdaughter Brooke. (03-06-09)
