RTN Retro television network is not new, its been around a while; WFLA had nothing to do with its creation; the venture was created for use by digital subchannels couple of years ago. WFLA is just adding it as a subchannel in place of the weather service that was there. they do air some programs not seen in a while and certainly not aired by loser TVLand.

i suppose if you don't have cable/satellite, this seems like a good deal. but perry mason, emergency, leave it to beaver... they just seem like free filler to me. another channel of nothing original/worthwhile to watch.

If you want "original", watch TVLand, thats what they are migrating to as opposed to old TV shows; personally RTN shows are welcome and are NOT filler. I'd rather watch "Emergency" or Marcus Welby anyday than some of this original garbage that airs on most cable channels these days; as far as i'm concerned there are close to 200 channels of original uninteresting garbage on TV these days; we actually had better TV with 5 or 6 local channels in 1964 than we have with this all this satellite and cable garbage today.
