The press release reported the placement as digital channel 50. It looks like FSN had to give up the requirement that the channel be added to the analog tier.

After 12:01, I noticed the viacom stations were still on the air.

So, an hour later I went online and on the front page of the Sentinel was the big news.

I went nuts. It's such a huge relief as the frontloaded Sun Sports schedule was about to run out.

It was also stunning that they got the Viacom and FS Florida deals done at the same time.

Simply a great New Year's gift.
