Start Over and Quick Clips should be launching soon in CFL. I don't have the specifics but I know more HD is coming and I heard Sci-Fi channel and another news channel in HD thrown around...

What are Quick Clips? I don't think we have that in Tampa Bay (unless it's called by another name here).

Start Over is a nice convenience on some channels, but if you're sensitive to reduced picture quality, then you probably won't like it. It's REALLY compressed...reminds me of watching a video clip on my PC sometimes. But if you miss the beginning of a show, and you didn't set it to record, it's better than nothing. I wonder if they might be able to utilize SDV (once rolled out) to provide a better picture quality.

It's available on probably about 15 channels here, none on HD.

When you do get Start Over, let us know what it's like in Orlando...if the picture quality is what I've described, if the controls are still limited (rewind/pause only, no FF), and whatever else you learn.

I've found Start Over useful when I've missed the beginning of a news broadcast or a video countdown, it's a nice feature to have.

Quick Clips is currently available in the BHN Indianapolis market:

"Tube Tabs is a new digital video feature that allows subscribers to access short-form video content related to programming they choose to view, including content produced for the Internet by major networks, on their TVs. Tube Tabs featuring Quick Clips uses IP technology and software to electronically send short-form network video content.

Tube Tabs featuring Quick Clips works like this: A subscriber tuning to CNN is prompted to press “Select” on the remote to access the Tube Tabs menu. The subscriber then selects Quick Clips and is granted access to related video content from CNN, such as the top headlines of the day or exerts from the latest presidential news conference.

After viewing any desired Quick Clips, the subscriber is returned back to live CNN programming. Currently, Tube Tabs featuring Quick Clips is available on CNN, CNBC, MTV, Comedy Central, FoxReality, Showtime and The Weather Channel."

It is about time for BH to give us some more HD channels.

The News channel is probably Fox News.

Sci Fi is a little surprising too.

Back in May, we were hearing CNN, Golf and Starz.

It's possible we get Golf and Versus when the channel splits but who knows.

Keep us posted.

Thanks!
