Will someone in Pinellas or Pasco please post their signal strengths on the active transponders for 99W (s) and (c) as both are active.

I just recently installed my dish and see nothing higher than a 48 on the 99W (s) transponders - and then only on 2 transponders - thus I am curious if the dish is tweaked properly.

If you see higher numbers on 99W than I do, I might also bother you to check the 103W (c) and (s).

Thanks.

Here's the thing....when you're looking at transpoder matrixes keep this in mind: The (s) stands for spotbeam and the (c) stands for conus beam. I also have signal strengths for the 99 (s) in the forties because it is a spot beam for another areas local channels and we are just seeing the overlap here. You should have signals in the ninties on the 99 (c) because that is a conus beam (conus is short for continental U.S.). Sounds like your dish is pointed correctly.

Yes, I am well aware of what the (s) and (c) are and stand for. However, there are no reports anywhere else in the entire USA of atleast 1 signal on both (s) birds in at least the 80s. Thus only 2 signals on 99 (s) and both in the 40s clearly makes one question the alignment.

Well I live in Pasco and I have mid to high forties on the 99(s) and I work for Directv so you can feel assured that my dish is aligned correctly. We don't receive any programming here at all from the 99(s) so it shouldn't be of concern. We receive our locals from the 103(s) so if the signals are low on that bird then you may have an issue.

As you work for Directv, can you tell me specifically what other market's spotbeams we are seeing on the 103(s) signal meter (by transponder)?

I am curious which one is Orlando, which is Jacksonville, which is Ft. Myers, which is Miami/Ft.Lauderdale and which is West Palm.
