While I never watch anything on USA, I am impressed with the picture on USA-HD. They even showed Oceans 13 in the proper aspect ratio, and not zoomed to 16:9 like TNT likes to do when they show movies on TNT HD.

CNBC-HD is a complete waste except for the recent Olympics coverage. They take the SD picture and upconvert it, but it still looks like crap. At least they pillarbox it and not do some stupid "stretch-O-vision" that other networks love to do to a 4:3 ratio picture. However, they put a digital crawl across the bottom and that is in HD, but it overlaps the picture. Really stupid. They should reformat the crawl to a vertical format and put it in the pillarboxes.

Yeah USA is pretty good, I really like that show Burn Notice. Monk is good too, when nothing else is on. You can keep L&O CI.

FiOS just added ESPNU HD on channel 848.

The games are in widescreen HD, but the studio reporting is in 4:3 SD with ESPNU logos in the pillar boxes.

Hopefully they will get the studio work in full HD soon just like ESPN & ESPN2.
