Had to point my newsreader to isp5.newshosting.com port 119 today to get to newsgroups. Wanted to give everyone a heads up.

Does BHN still have the full list of newsgroups or did they do what Time Warner and Verizon have done and cut the number way back?

I know last time I looked (over a year) they didn't have any of the good HD groups like a.b.hdtv.x264

Anyone else having speed issues? I'm only pulling down 250KB/s on average per connection where I used to average around 800KB/s.

appears to be throttled

Indeed. I've contacted BrightHouse Networks support about this. Still paying the same amount of money each month for now degraded service.
