sorry for the off topic post.
We live in Pinellas Point near the Skyway's north toll booth. My wife and I try to get down to Sarasota/Venice every other week to check on my Mom and In-Laws all nearing 80. I'm sure that one of the members of the great forum has a secret short-cut that no one else knows...
I moved down back in '87. Before that my family used to vacation on Siesta Key every winter. I remember the pre I-75 2 1/2 hour drive from TPA (the old TPA where the baggage pickup was outside) back from '69 onward. A long drive...:mad: :mad: :mad: (was six the first trip. Asking Dad "are we there yet" "are we there yet?"
