I was disappointed that The CBS Morning Show debuted their new studios and personalities this morning without going HD. What are they thinking?

Just saw a commercial during the colts game, they're going HD on Monday.

Saw that too, not going to get me to watch past the first night though.

Welcome back Ben, can't wait to hear your follow-ups from CES

Thanks, it was fun lots of cool stuff but nothing spectacular.

I was just thinking how I would've never guessed Fox 13 would be the last to go HD.

I was so sure, when they rebuilt their newsroom, that they would launch HD. Anyone have any inside scoop as to when Fox 13 will go HD?

Well it was nice but again it's almost become passe and expected.

I understand that the colors look good but does everyone have to use the same purple, blues, oranges that ESPN started way back when.

Kudos to WTSP - welcome to 21st century local news!

I noticed some of the same artifacts that bother WFLA's news, like occasional blurring when the scene is changed.

Fortunately, like WFTS, they NEVER grotesquely stretch the 4:3 sourced material, just zoom it a bit.

Too bad the Phony HD types (the station manager gets the blame) over at WFLA still use a LOT of ugly stretching.

Lately, I've noticed serious audio problems with the WTSP evening newscast via BHN. There is an annoying echo in my Dolby 5.1 system with WTSP, not present in either WFLA or WFTS newscasts.

I sent an email to the News Director about it, but so far have heard nothing.

Anybody else notice this problem? On another cable system, or over-the-air?
