JVC HD-VCR recorder

I was in CompUSA yesterday, and noticed that they are expanding thier A/V section to include more VCRs and TVs. I didn't see any HDTV receivers, but they did have a HD recorder for $800.
They also have the internal DVD recorders for $150, which also record CDs.


Why are we losing this forum section? This is a great way to let others know about deals available in the local Tampa area, and is more accessible than the classified section of the site, since new messages will come up when you ask for 'recent threads'.

i think your msg would be better placed in the "places to view equipment" forum, w.r.t. the HD recorder (although that section hasn't had much activity either). Perhaps we also modify the name of that if needed.

that could also be used for Deals, although a lot hasn't been posted about Deals since we started.

w.r.t. Classifieds, the new module is perfect for that.

I was back in the store and took a look at the connections on the back of that HD digital recorder.......and there were no component or DVI connections!! WTF???

It records and plays back via firewire.
