BHN customers get another HDTV game

Wowee, Bright House has promised to let us HDTV customers see another REAL HD Devil Rays broadcast Saturday Night, from ION, on channel 651.

That makes a grand total of two REAL HD games so far this season (customers of other cable and satellite networks have seen many more, mainly from FSN).

The rest of the stuff on 651 has just been phony stretch-o-vision from a low definition original.

I still don't understand why FSN HD is not carried.

The usual BHN twinkies that man the support lines refuse to say why BHN is not carrying the Rays FSN HD games (at least 39 games this season), but it has to be a dispute about money.

I understand the problem extends to several more BHN networks.

Friday's game (July 13) looked superb in High Definition.

We were glad Saturday's game (July 14) will also be shown in High Definition, but at the last minute our buddy gave us good tickets.

If you are an unfortunate customer of Bright House Networks, you'll have to watch Sunday's game in low definition, alas.
