Starting Oct. 30 Fox ota 13-1 started coming in broken up and bad pixelation. Before this I got fair quality on the digital channel when they broadcast the specials in 480p. during prime time. What happened? Is it just my problem here in town'n country part of Tampa.

I've been having terrible Fox reception today for the Bucs game. Pixalation every 30 or so seconds. All other stations are reading normal levels on my meter.

Same here. Every 5-10 seconds. Had to switch to analog cable.

Fox signal strength looks good and other stations are perfect. Rules out reception issues. Commercials are also hosed. Rules out source transmit problems at the stadium. I would say this is an equipment problem at our local Fox affiliate.

I began noticing the same thing on Friday also. Lots of pixelization, quick freezing. I can get the same signal strength on FOX that I get on NBC, and NBC is perfect.

Even raising my antenna another 10' did not help.

What's up with that?

I was at the game so of course I didn't see it on television. However, when I got home at 4:20pm and turned on the television to Fox I haven't had any problems whatsoever with the channel.

Guys, will you please make sure your VHF anntena is pointing the right way towards Riverview. When I first installed my VHF I somehow had it pointing in the opposite direction and had dropouts and pixelations every 2-3 seconds on FOX even though NBC came in at 100% without any dropouts.

FOX doesn't have a problem at this time according to the station.

I was seeing the same thing on FOX via BHN.

Still happening to me here in Riverview at 11:15 pm. Looking out the window at the antenna farm as I type. Sound always stays but the pic pixels every 5 seconds or so. I get a constant 83-86 singal on the Dish 6000.

The same thing was happening to me throughout the Bucs game and through the Dallas v Washington game. It seemed like it happened every 10-20 seconds or so.

I've updated the topic heading.

I've still have not had any problems with the dropouts at all. I've have a rock steady signal at 100%.

The station told me at the time that I called they were not having any problems. That was not the same contact that I have since it was on a Sunday.

BUT if you guys are still reporting this and since there are more than just one then there must be a problem, I will call my contact over there and ask them whats going on. My contact is the Vice President and his assisant.

B, I can assure you, it's not my antenna. I should have an elevator I'm up there so often.

If you are getting a good picture, then 1) they have dropped the radiated power from thier antenna and you are close or in a good path, or 2) they are f***ing with the PSIP data and my receiver doesn't like it. In fact, the breakups were SO regular that I started to consider this possibility (I think the PSIP data is sub-multiplexed, and maybe something bad was getting inserted every 7-8 seconds).

I've called the station.. I'm waiting for the call back.

Are you still having the problems?

FYI: I live in the Westchase area.
