new firmware update for Pace HD box?

I noticed the on screen bar looked differently, and the box had forgot my settings. Flipping through the channels I no longer have ESPNHD :sad:. It says I'm not authorized, but I had it yesterday. all the other HD channels work. Guess I'll call tonight and see what's up.

Yes, things are really screwed up on my HDTV after this mornings push. I was on the phone with BHN for about 1/2 hour, and we could not figure it out.

I used to set everthing to 480i/passthrough. That way I could stretch my SD channels, and HD channels would be locked at 720p/1080i.

Now everything is screwed up. The top/bottom of the menu and guides are cut off on every setting but 1080i fixed.

To adjust:

Turn off pace box
hold down guide and info buttons on cable box simultaneously
Choose "B" - HD Setup
Choose Advanced
Then you can choose your resolutions.

But nothing worked for me. The only think that worked was fixed/1080i, but then I have to toggle between NORMAL and STRETCH when I go back and forth between SD & HD channels. This is unacceptable.

Everything worked fine for me on the HD DVR.

No it didn't. All cable boxes were upgraded, HD or not. DVR functionality was increase as well.

Figured out the problem. Operator error.

My doggie sitter over the weekend left my TV's Aspect Ratio in ZOOM mode. That's why when I went in to 480i, the top and bottom where cut off.

Problem solved.

Just got off the phone with BH, according to the rep they're doing another round of updates tonight in preparation for the DST change.

I will say the new font in the channel info bar really stinks. It's hard to read.

I even got a message on my Series3 letting me know about the udpate, although I doubt it really effects the Series3, it might effect the CableCARDs that are installed.
